The 60th session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD60) will take place from 7 to
16 February 2022 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Commission is the
advisory body responsible for the social development pillar of global development.
Priority Theme
Inclusive and resilient recovery from COVID-19 for sustainable livelihoods, well-being and dignity
for all: eradicating poverty and hunger in all its forms and dimensions to achieve the 2030
Agenda.
Under this slogan and within the activities of the Sustainable Social Committee in its sixtieth
session, the Creators Union of Arab, the Consultative Status of the Economic and Social
Council of the United Nations, is organizing a forum under the title ” The Role of Digitization
in the Sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Light of the COVID-19
Pandemic”.
This forum deals with several topics:
• The importance of digitization in the continuation of small and medium enterprises.
• The strategy of implementing the digitization plan.
• Qualifying cadres to use and manage digitization in an optimal manner.
• Educating business owners about the importance of building a secure digital base.
